In tribute to my dearest father-in-law Dominic, who welcomed me into the Welsh family thirty years ago.
I have so many wonderful memories including, in no particular order - fun and adventure on holidays in Europe and Asia, eccentric airplane behaviour, Hat game victories (we had a few!), his appreciation of birthday chocolate cakes, help with tricky (for me) geometry, long walks in the Meadows, and the occasional support of Arsenal.
I will miss his voice, his jokes, his stories, his laughter and yes, his worries too.
I have been so very lucky to have had Dominic as my father-in-law with his boundless love and ready support for me, Felix and of course Simon. Our lives have been profoundly blessed by his, and while we grieve and mourn his absence, we will forever be grateful for the clever, funny, loving, good and decent man, Dominic.
